UNM Travel Promotion

Are you planning to travel for UNM business or attending a conference in the next 11 months? You could fly for free, thanks to UNM Travel and Southwest Airlines! We’re excited to announce a special promotion! One lucky UNM staff or faculty member will win a round-trip E-pass for travel on Southwest Airlines.

What's the prize?

  • One round-trip E-pass valid for Southwest Airlines
  • Travel must be for UNM business purposes
  • Airfare will be booked by UNM Travel via Concur
  • Enrollment period: October 3, 2025 – November 30, 2025
  • Winner announced: December 1, 2025
  • Eligible travel dates: Must travel before September 2, 2026

Rapids Rewards Promotion

From July 18 through October 31, Rapid Rewards Members can earn up to 10,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points that also count toward tier status when they register, then book through their university’s preferred booking tool (Concur or Anthony travel) and fly qualifying flights:

• Book and fly two qualifying round trip flights (or four qualifying one-way trip flights): 5,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points
• Book and fly four qualifying round trip flights (or eight qualifying one-way trip flights): 5,000 additional Rapid Rewards bonus points for a total of 10,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points

Group Booking with Southwest Airlines

Southwest Airlines can assist with large group reservations. A group of 10 or more travelers may qualify for group discounts. 

You can reach the SWA group travel desk at 1-800-433-5368.  Should you make a groups reservation, please make sure you include the name University of New Mexico or UNM’s CID 99373875  within the group name.

There are no fees associated with this reservation assistance but a non-refundable deposit of $50 per ticket is required at the time of reservation.
