Group Booking with Southwest Airlines

Southwest Airlines can assist with large group reservations. A group of 10 or more travelers may qualify for group discounts. 

You can reach the SWA group travel desk at 1-800-433-5368.  Should you make a groups reservation, please make sure you include the name University of New Mexico or UNM’s CID 99373875  within the group name.

There are no fees associated with this reservation assistance but a non-refundable deposit of $50 per ticket is required at the time of reservation.

If the traveler is interested in receiving Rapid Rewards points, please ensure that they have signed up for a Rapid Rewards number before calling to make a reservation.

Ready for Takeoff? Earn A-List Status and Up to 20,000 Rapid Rewards® Bonus Points

Rapid Rewards Members can earn promotional A-List status (valid through 12/31/2026) and up to 20,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points when they register, book through an eligible business channel (GDS, SWABIZ, or one of our direct connect/API partners), and fly qualifying flights. Regarding UNM travel, only flights booked via Concur or Anthony Travel are eligible.

  • Book and fly 4 round trips (8 one-ways): earn promotional A-List plus 20,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points
